Healthy Air is our Business & Your Health is our Goal!

Why We Do It!

Mission Statement: We assist our clients in avoiding or minimizing potential problems & to develop a strategic plan to deal with their existing or emerging issues.

EAQP Background

Environmental Air Quality (EAQ) refers to the quality of air in industrial & non-industrial environments such as homes & offices. Since the energy crisis of the mid 1970’s, IAQ has become an increasingly important issue for building owners, managers & occupants.
Poor building ventilation is the result of more energy-efficient construction & the use of mechanical ventilation instead of natural ventilation, such as windows. The indoor pollutant level has increased from the use of synthetics in building materials & furniture, the use of chemical cleaning products & the increased use of office equipment – all of which contribute to chemical & particulate contamination of the indoor air.
Building occupants are yet another source of pollutants. Our metabolic processes are a source of many different volatile organic compounds – not to mention perfume, deodorant, hair spray & other grooming products that add contaminants to the indoor air.

How Is There A Way To Know If Mold Is Still Growing Or Not?

4

The only way to know if mold is currently dormant or not is to get it tested. Mold can be dormant one day, then can start growing later on.

My Wife And I Are Unsure If We Should Get An Inspection Before We Close On A Home.

5

It is always good practice to get an inspection before buying a home. Being in a home for a few minutes to an hour can be very different from living in a house for years, not everyone immediately reacts to mold in a home. Mold can play the long con, so it is better to know what you and your wife are getting into before purchasing a house.
